John Lowry

John commenced practice in 1979 as a quantity surveyor. The practice soon acquired a project management / programming arm and practiced in this form for over 20 years under his leadership, refining project cost and time management services. He has, over the last ten years, built a reputation as an expert in the areas of project contract, cost and time management. Alternative dispute resolution, including preparing payment claims and schedules, adjudication applications and responses, the adjudication of construction payment disputes and managing an Authorised Nominating Authority under Australian security of payment legislation forms a significant part of what we do. Because of an interest in technology and the future of consulting, John gained valuable experience in business strategies, especially as they relate to the uptake of modern technologies and streamlining of supply chain processes. This has led to expanding the business into information management and IT strategies, implementation and training. He is a past national president of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors
